history 2

salam~

somehow, i found myself attracted to learn the history of Islam in Nusantara

seriously, history in South East Asia is not my favourite one.
but, but, but,
since i just read in iluvislam.com on the history on Siam and Kedah, on our Rumpun Melayu, the candi in Lembah Bujang.

all those are related with Islam,
again, i'm curious.
gossh!

amilah! ko nak blajo bahasa Siam kan?

gooshh.
this is it!
right after the trial exam, i'm going to read Hikayat Raja-raja Pasai and Salatus Salatin.
those books are available in my school library!
but i can't borrow them. T___T
at least i can read them in the library.

when we read more on history, we know more facts, the truth and we may find out that a few thing we learnt are all false.
whatever it is, we must keep on seeking the truth.
Allah is always with us and insyaAllah, with our hardwork on seeking the truth, we too help to return back the time, when Islam is at its peak, the Golden Age of Islam.
InsyaAllah~!

>.<
till then~
salam~

history

''HISTORY?
nooo!! can't be!! i hate it!! no!! always get E and D for that! no!''

history,
why does our young generation hates that subject?

well, to be honest,
me too, hate that subject of history for the SEJARAH TINGKATAN 5 syllabus.
especially about our dear Malaysia.
i kinda lost my interest with it.

reading our school history text book won't provide you the complete detail of the event.
so i found it boring to read them.

so, its better for us to search the other trusted sources to read.

i've been reading few history books and travelling book to other countries. all the books i read are the old edition, mainly printed during 60's. well, i really love old books..haha

during the dark ages of the european,
you can look up to SEJARAH TINGKATAN 4 textbook chapter 9
*if i'm not mistaken*.
there, it mention about King Henry VIII who wanted to marry Anne Boleyn, resulting to the separation of the Church of England from the Roman Catholic Church.
At first, he was objected from marrying her but, he secretly married her at last.
i read this from The Children's Book of History.
gosshh..the book is for children and at the young age, they are alreading learning about the kings and the political state of the old kingdoms.

ok.enough with the introduction. LOL
just straight to the point, i want to talk about the Islamic Golden Age.
I haven't read any books about this but i did a little research on the Internet.
i was like ''woohooo...Moslems scientist are the best!''..
also while reading the Children Book of History, there was a Christian king*i can't remember his name* who tried to seek help from an Islamic king, so that he could kill his rival so he could get the throne.
and again i was like ''woohooo''.

somehow, i found reading history is cool.
but not for the Malaysian history school syllabus.
i only like the form 4's syllabus..>.<

i still could not decide on what i want to be in the future.
a pharmacyst? maybe,but i still can't decide.
but when i look up to the list of Islamic scientist and scholars,
MasyaAllah, they are experts in not just one field, but various.
i think i wanna be like them, insyaAllah.

i love reading history on :
-The Golden Age of Islam
-the kingdoms of Scottland, England and others...
-Spain
-mainly the history related with Islam and old English kingdoms
>.<

i think this should be enough for now.
i should focus on revising for exam.
goshhh
pray for me~!

till then, salam~!
